Our story \u2013 Petra\u2019s memories from the beginning

The story of Brillancy Jewelry Manufactory began in 1989 when my husband's grandparents decided to work with precious metal jewelry. The family realized a bold dream: they started working with jewelry. The love for jewelry was passed down through generations: the son founded a jewelry store with his wife, and later their grandson continued this tradition.<\/p>\n

Since childhood, P\u00e9ter believed that jewelry is not just an object but a work of art. Jewelry making is a form of art that can connect people and preserve stories for future generations. His dedication and passion led him to continuously learn and develop in the art of old goldsmith masters. Through New York, England, and Florence to Belgium, attending schools and workshops of goldsmith masters, he acquired knowledge of jewelry making and gemstone cutting.<\/p>\n

My first memory of jewelry making is when I was 8 years old and received a small bracelet from my parents, decorated with little blue flowers. While wearing it, one of the stones broke. I sadly went to my father to fix it. He took out a soldering iron from his small workshop behind the house and showed me how to put the broken stone back. Later, the bracelet broke several times, and I enthusiastically went to repair it. By then, I knew this would be my path. I would become a goldsmith when I grow up.<\/p>\n

After a few years of searching, my husband and I created our own jewelry manufactory in Budapest.<\/p>\n

The early years were characterized by love for jewelry and creation, hard work, and lots of experimentation. People soon liked our products because they felt the care and heartfelt dedication in the items we made. Our family\u2019s faith and perseverance led this small family business to become a defining player in Hungarian jewelry culture over time. Today, we can proudly say that this passion, which has driven us from the beginning, remains the heart and soul of Brillancy Manufactory.<\/p>\n

Every day, when we enter our workshop, we remind ourselves that this place is not just a business but a family legacy that we want to pass down to our children in the same way.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We create jewelry preceded by careful design. We experiment extensively to produce pieces that will always bring joy to their wearers. In recent years, we have tested many new technologies and introduced innovative solutions, while successfully preserving the values of traditional goldsmith craftsmanship.<\/p>

It may sound strange, but there can be quality differences even in gold. More precisely, it is not the quality of the gold that varies, but the alloy materials used alongside the gold. A 14-carat gold piece contains 585 parts per thousand gold, so the remaining 415 parts consist of other materials. It matters greatly what these materials are because jewelry is worn on our skin and continuously comes into contact with our body.<\/p>

We always carefully select gemstones, paying special attention to ensuring that diamonds come exclusively from verified sources with international certification. For unique designs, we cut special gemstone shapes ourselves in our workshop.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Jewelry often has a story, especially true for engagement rings, as most women will remember forever the moment they received a wonderful ring as a gift. Jewelry is often a memory \u2014 given as a present on birthdays, anniversaries, or Christmas, made from precious materials, representing serious value passed down as family heirlooms.<\/span><\/p>

Gemstones have their own stories as well. They are small miracles from the Earth, discovered by humans and brought from distant lands to us. We work on them and dress them in new settings.<\/p>

What makes our manufactory special is that, alongside our displayed jewelry, we can realize custom requests and ideas. Many want gemstones of unique shapes or colors. This is one of our favorite areas. Some clients come to us with a sketch, and based on it, we design together, creating a wonderful necklace or earrings through joint work. The wearer and the giver are much happier when they wear an item created from their own experiences and thoughts. This is how the jewelry becomes unique, and later its own story.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
